API Gate way is kind of proxy for your api which is developed by mule soft components like RAML,WSDL,REST etc.Developed apis are monitored and managed by API Gate way. You can control the apis by mentioning the policies like setting the throttling,basic auth etc.. for different connectors.. In Organisation prospective, API Gate way will provide Analytics of API. 1. No of times the api has been called during specified interval. 2.Location from where the API has consumed. 3.Name of the app consumed your api. So that business can get analytical report based on the uasge of the api. This is new concept in Mule 3.8.
